IP: the oysters at LBB were indeed the star of the show (as were most of the shellfish for the fruits de mer). I can still remember vividly the belon oysters from my recent visit. They were delicious. The steaks are really good too - well matured beef with an almost buttery texture.<BR/><BR/>annie: i would think the rock oysters here are equivalent of kumamotos (which themselves are rock oysters).

Oysters are indeed very sexy ! I prefer the tinest of them, the kumamotos from Japan... Have always wondered what their English/French counterparts are.<BR/><BR/>A SIX hour lunch ??? O.M.G - now that is true dedication :)
